    Serena all day long.

Her skill set is more transferable to table tennis.

    Ah, but lemon.

You forget that you are totally ignorant of the skills needed to play ping pong, and show no willingness to learn them

I reckon knocking a little ball over a net with a little dimpled bat just about sums it up.

On a little 'court" or table.

With killer topspin, side spin, back spin, of course. Make that little ball misbehave.

    really?
    other than hitting a ball
I don't see much to transfer
I think a top hitter in baseball would probably beat serena

One rather likes your respect,......though not your reasoning.

Michael Phelps is probably a better athlete than both, but I wouldn't trust him at wiff waff.

Edit: And how many professional baseball players have also been world champion at table tennis? (I can name at least 2 tennis players who have done so. - There is no coincidence in that).

you sure 2 CHAMPIONS at ping pong?

Ann Jones was World runner up

    Fred Perry was World champ

is NOT enough to show any correlation, apparently, according to one fierce defender of ping pong

the question was not whether curry or serena would become top pros in table tennis but rather which would win a tables tennis match between the two

I think a tennis professional has a more narrow skill set then a pro basketball player or baseball player

    Agreed, lemon.

Well, a more 'appropriate' skill set for ping pong

What you actually wrote (top of p2) is 'there is hardly a statistical correlation'. Did you check that? Are you basing this latest liar attack on the fact that I took that to be 'no correlation'?? Weak.

So you are saying there is some correlation, ping pong/tennis, although very weak? But none at all ping pong/basketball? Excellent. Is what us Serena fans want. Thanks.

You arrogantly assume I was ignorant of Fred Perry. Please give evidence. I used Ann Jones as my example because she was 30 or so years later than Perry, and so more relevant, I felt. I ask again for any evidence that I was unaware of FP's sporting achievements. There is none.

Once again, please address my post, P9. 8 posts down. Will just keep asking time and time again.

And you will look foolish for using the arrogant blowhard 'ignore' tactic
