I'm a former soldier who is now making a living in the civilian world. The only battles for me now are on the 64 squares. My favorite players of yesteryear include: Morphy, Lasker, Rubenstein and my fav. Capablanca. I prefer this mental challenge to any other games and enjoy a good challenge. I am esp. fascinated with the depth-of-insight type moves of these players and always try to extract the very most possible from seemingly inert positions.
