Even in T20, 8 for 8 off 19 balls is a phenomena, surely?

T20 is excellent. 5 days a match... who wants to watch that? People who don't work can't afford Sky TV.

IPL starting soon... can 350 million Indians be wrong?

When they lost to Holland in the T20 world cup and Ireland at the one day world cup is still much funnier. I was at the England vs Ireland game in 2011, magic on a cricket field.

Awww... and I was looking forward to seeing that.

Lets face it: You need at least a day or 2 for a decent cricket match. Ideally 4.
ODI's are waning in crowd numbers over here, but seem to have found a nice niche for tv audiences.
T20(the"Big Bash" ) is pitched as "family friendly" and they are right. No one wants to take their kids to an 7 or 8 hour game.
    3 hours is the key

And just today, RSA Proteas wiped the pitch with New Zealand, with a 70+ run win in the only T20 game for the tour..
Tahir not too shabby, taking 5 wickets. 🙂

I notice Aus lost to Sri Lanka, again. After Sla 's disastrous tour of RSA.
Seems RSA 's whipping did them a lot of good... ' 😀
