Peace will not come from the abrahamic religions.

Maybe it could come from some sort of concerted subsidized international action involving benzodiazepine.

Good point. I had something else in mind though.

The word "peace" can be found in 104 verses in the New Testament of the KJV. There are a variety of applications depending on the context. The "peace" I had in mind has more to do with "peace with God" other than peace on earth. You're correct in saying Jesus doesn't bring peace on earth, in fact He will bring judgement and wrath, but not against His own. To those that believe Jesus gives peace. Peace with God.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

As long as people are in charge there will never be true peace. There may be the peace you would find in China or North Korea or perhaps Iran but that isn't peace.
