When you have nothing then meditation seems easier for me.
When a I have a bunch a cash in my pockets my ego is saying "why meditate? " There's a bunch of other stuff you can do. More temptations when you have money.

Is that what you meant?

Anyhoo, I find it useful to keep a meditative frame of mind dealing with whatever.
I constantly return my focus to my centre (my naval) and feel all the energies present
