    Dying, though, is totally problematic.

Was about to say looking at your thread title. Then I read your post.

The moment someone has to help me relieve myself I'll take an overdose. I don't want to drag out my death.

Wait! That seems minor to me. Nobody wants a frucking catheter but you have more to offer, more to say, more to do? More to share? I believe this: Do not go gentle into that good night.

    Rage!

I don't want people to think I pretend to say that first. Dylan Thomas, I guess. I hate poetry, but this is pretty good stuff:
Do not go gentle into that good night,
    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I really don't like poetry. It makes me feel inadequate.

"Being dead" seems to contradict itself.

I had to think three times! I don't want to stop thinking, and seeing apes send ships out, and finding out what happens next. But I have no choice.

    Nor do you.

    Rage against that mofo machine!!

Seriously ,at 42I've raged enough and I'm tired and see all the crap in the world and think "I hope the world is better than when I entered it" , but sometimes I'm not so sure.

Reading this reminds me of a cartoon I saw.

It was a man answering the door only to be confronted with the Grim Reaper dressed in pink shorts and a green tank top and a tacky straw hat. The man responds, "You call this death the dignity?"

    Carry on.

Some humor would help. You got any?

I kid! You don't show humor much, I shouldn't knock you down. You misspelled "with" though. I like words until my dying day. Your thoughts to scribbles that become thoughts in other brains! That is freaking magic.

I've been trying, but am still unsure what you mean. It sounds important.

    You "hope"??

What have you done to "make it so"? Anything?

There's plenty of time left to actually make that difference.
