That doesn't look like the full Stockfish, looks like a handicapped version. I know because I can clobber level 6 but level 7 and 8 clobber me. Level 6 and below are weak because they make stupid moves that a human wouldn't make.

    Hi DougBlanch.

I intended to stop at move 79. If you do a 'reply and quote' you can
see I added a note at move 79.

"No need to go any further this is clear win. Black mated White on move 105"

Somehow or other this got all messed up. It was quite a difficult one to de-bug.
But I should have checked it.

    Hi congruent,

Got any examples of a stupid computer mistake.

Anyone know what kind of comp Stockfish was running on? I mean, if it was a 1999 cell phone........

    Hi Greenpawn,

Look at this game. The computer made mistakes that a human of 1900-2000 (its playing strength) would not have made. I missed a killer move Nd4 at some point.

    Updated from my Post above...

(Regarding the Version of Stockfish 8 ? it was the Full Version on a High end PC playing at 180 Seconds each per move as shown in the .pgn)
Check it's Engine output log below and see if it Matches your Smartphone Version or should I say Not! so Smart! 🙂

Stockfish Versions 5/6/7/8 Playing White (3rd Move) Preference v The A.R.B Chess System.

Notice! The Computer hardware used for the moves below was much faster and efficient
than when the Original Engines where made, so expect more reliable Results 🙂
The idea behind the examples is to show the Evolution of the Stockfish Engine, using
different updated Versions and how they look at the positions.

That (original post) doesn't look like "Stockfish 8 on a high end pc", looks like a 1800-1900 player who might have had a bit of bitter to drink. 🙄

Stockfish is "weak enough" to beat Nakamura. Nakamura is stronger than 99.9% of human chess players .... what does that tell us?

Sounds like you are the Drunk one congruent 😀

If you think the moves shown above/below are from a 1800-1900 player then why don't you back that up by showing us the moves your 1900 + player/Engine plays at 180 Seconds ?

And Yes! Nakamura is stronger than 99.9% of human chess players (Playing Chess in a Normal Human way!) 😉

Nakamura would Not! know how to play The A.R.B Chess System...it has taken (30)+ Years to get to where it is at! 🙂 Plus he would not have the Patience to play Six Pawns in the Opening before any Main Pieces are played...which is what the System is based on! 😉
