    Will Liam Fox ensure that Brits - deprived under EU laws - will now
    have access to
    * chlorine washed poultry
    * unlabelled GM veg
    * hormone grown beef

    US farmers hope so!

    The UK government is hoping UK life expectancy falls
    to US levels so that State pensions can be maintained.

    (OK ... I made that last bit up!)

    Given the rest of your post, the last bit probably wasn't a far stretch.

    Yes, but on the other hand, because David Davis ~ Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union ~ is such a formidable negotiator, he is going to force the E.U. countries to accept U.K. agricultural produce that doesn't meet European safety standards. Especially now his hand has been strengthened by Theresa getting reelected.

    Indeed; with those two at the helm nothing can possibly go wrong.

    Isn't there some kind of Marmite angle to Brexit, too?

    The Tory rags invented a Danish ban on Marmite some years ago.
    It was an exaggerated story (in Denmark it had to go through some
    legal process prior to going to market because it was fortified with
    vitamins ... the same as any similar product in Denmark)
    I think it is on sale there now.

    The Referendum result: +/-50% love Marmite, +/-50% wanted to stay in the E.U.

    Is it true that the thread title is actually what 'FMF' means?

    No. Liam Fox is a Conservative politician in the UK. I am not a Conservative, not a politician, and not in the UK. You didn’t respond to my point about Marmite. If you don't want to discuss yeast extract spreads (in the context of Brexit and the E.U.) start your own thread.

    So, just to be clear, you're saying, for the record, that FMF does NOT stand for 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'?
