Although the story about the Flynn scandal has gained momentum in the press as of late, another issue has raised it's ugly head. The government has a leak that is giving these classified stories to the public. From what I hear, these leaks have persisted under Obama and goes back all the way to Clinton.

It would seem a crack down is in order, or does anyone disagree? Are these leaks a good thing?

Glad to see the shills doing their work and parroting the Trump administration's diversionary whataboutism story. Well done, whodey.

Obviously you don't find these leaks troubling.

Then again, Obama did not seem to think them troubling either.

What would you say is the most troubling aspect of evidence of possible treason emerging?

What do you find more troubling: the fact that Trump appointed a promoter of the ludicrous Pizzagate conspiracy theory and paid Russian propagandist (a regular on the English-language Kremlin mouthpiece Russia Today) to his cabinet, and then ignored (or possibly even approved of) the fact that he illegally discussed sanctions with the Russians? Or the fact that these facts emerged due in part to leaks from the White House and/or intelligence community?

I really wonder how much we actually understand of these issues, its like seeing by means of a hazy mirror, we only ever get a partial view. The idea that collectivism is the work of the anti Christ or Perestroika was a soviet propaganda tools appears to me to be symptomatic of not really understanding the issues either.

Seems to me that anyone who works for the Executive Branch should do so at the discretion of the President.

I think all the political appointees are required to submit a letter of resignation upon a change of president. Of course the new president may ask selected personnel to stay.

    Civil Servants keep their jobs.

I keep hearing stories how Trump must keep people who sympathize with Obama. I t was meant to do away with the spoils system.
