  Yes, I believe there is absolutely no reason at all in chess to separate men and women. My game has been wrecked too many times by female players to feel any differently. I don't seem to encounter as many female players, but great chess players are great, regardless of race, gender, nationality, etc.

  @ BigDoggProblem your right I mean they faught to get rid of word/name Firewoman and substitute it with Firefighter for the same reason also Chairperson instead of Chair woman.

  I vote to get rid of women's chess titles like WGM, etc. They are sexist and imply (wrongly) that women can't play chess as well as men.
