    From move 38 on the bishops have absolute control. The rook is helpless. Never had a game like this before!

    The Bishops with a passed pawn will easily beat the Rook.

    Back here just when you played Rxg4.


    How could you resist Bf1 threatening Rc6 mate.

    I saw that but was worried about the rook check, but I see the king has a hidey hole. Is there anything black can do about that b-f1 other than delaying mate for a couple of moves? For instance, B-f1, B-d7? I see after the B-f1. R-a2+ K-g1, B-e2 Doesn't that stop the mate?

    Right, it doesn't save the game, just the immediate checkmate. Then you hope the opponent blunders🙂
