    Wouldn't 2. Nf3 have won quicker? 😉 😛
Just messing man, nice job. It looked like you "patched up" potential problems pretty well. I'll let the other players have at you now. 🙂

    Nice mate!

What would you have done against 25...Bf6?

    Edit: Or against 25...Rf6?

I like the space you have in the opening, I think black should play 7...D5 and try to remove your space advantage. Beautiful finish though! No way he could avoid that unless he saw it a move ahead of time. Black was just too cramped and you exploited it nicely tying his forces to defense of the knight.

    25 ..Bf6. 26 Qe3. I can hang on to the pawn and defend e5 with f4.

    25 .. Rf6. 26 Qe3. The knight is not threatened, so f4 can wait, whilst I pick up the pawn on c4. 26 ..R8f8 gets 27 Kd7.

No, I meant on the next move. Black plays ...Qxf2+ as in the game, then plays ...Rf6/Bf6 after white's Kh1.

    The critical position
    Black to Move

Edit: Hmm, I suppose Ng6+ takes care of things either way.
