I was trying to make 17.Nd4 work. (it looks good) Then I got 17.N(f3) -g5 which seems
a better shot. (seems to win the exchange.plus more) Must be OK.
If you cannot fathom all the complications - Shut your eyes and play it.
Edit: 17.Nd4 may not be too good - it's not a 6 and two 3's move. Just seen.
17...Nxd4 18. Bxg4 the bloody stupid Knight on d4 goes back to f5. (backward Knight moves..........) .
